HCA: Hermit Crab Association

I had to cancel my order. My mom is having heart problems and I'm going to have to help her out and work 3 jobs. So I won't have time for crabs with potential mites

I have not heard anything. She keeps the crabs for 2 weeks to allow them to destress once they come in. So if they arrived to her on the 27th we should be hearing about shipping sometime next week.

Did you wait for her to send an invoice? I sent her an e-mail and told her I wanted to add two more crabs as well a couple days ago and she asked if I had a paypal address. I believe someone called the number last year that had been listed (not sure what thread that would be in) but it was indeed legitimate and they were able to speak with the owner of LHC. I don't know what the number was there's always a possibility that the info was changed.

I've decided to wait as well. I'm not in that much of a hurry but the fall weather concerns me- we've had a warmer summer than usual and I'm hoping it will hold out through september. I hope she's going to molt! You've done a wonderful job with her! In the main tank- you can try offering different proteins (not mixed together) in various shells throughout the tank.
