Crab got Attacked - can he still eat on his own??

1. What kind of substrate is used in your tank and how deep is it? eco earth sand mix. at least 10" could be more. 2. Do you have gauges in the tank to measure temperature and humidity? If so, where are they located and what temperature and humidity do they usually read? bottom middle reads about 80...

Re: The Hermit Crab Garden ~ New Flowers are Ready!

Hi Wode,
How long do you think your dried flowers will be selling for? I wanted to make an order but maybe a bit later in the season...any chance they'll still be around or do you not have too much right now??

Thanks!

I use seashells at the bottom, aquarium plants, and bubbles. I added a bird ladder when I moved it above gr...

Re: Rearranged Tank and Bday Cake Pics

how often do you redo your crabitat? not often. I got it for xmas and it hasn't changed much since then. Changing water was a pain in the butt with the pool being in the sub so once all the crabs were up I brought the pool above ground, added a few things I had ordered and was waiting on and moved ...

I was wondering if you had an idea of around when will you start selling more havestables (and are some of them able to ship to canada??). I'm in need of some more leaves/flowers but could hold out for a month or two (hopfully).

Re: What's on today's menu & recipe sharing

I've been away skiing for a couple of days so the crabs have been eating solely dry mixes. Today I made them a really nice fresh meal of black berry, acorn squash with seeds, papaya, and mixed mushrooms all sprinkled with some honeydew cuttle bone treat. They also got a dish of fresh protein which h...

Brittanybaby22: what are the dimentions of your tote?? Also for foods if you have raw meats or fish at home you could take little pieces and warm it up in the microwave and feed that to your crab. Just make sure it has NO SALT OR SAUCES on it. It must be completely raw before you cook it. You could ...

Re: TOTE TUTORIAL~ 8D

I am thinking about using a tote for my hermit crab what kind do i need to look for ? Since you don't have lots of hermit crabs I'd just get a small one that is as clear as possible (doesn't have to be clear at all but it's nice to be able to see inside and look at them). You could get anything tha...

Re: The Hermit Crab Garden

The crab that was up last night really liked the star cookie, amaranth, and sorghum stick I put in (well pieces of as my crabs are only a little bigger than your cookies lol!), I found pieces scattered everywhere this morning :D
