Re: Review My Crabitat (Updated)

I'm not 100 percent sure about netting since I've never used it. Tons of people on here have though. One thing I would try to do is try to get 100% natural netting, like all cotton or something so that they dont end up eating anything they shouldn't cause they WILL eat it I just googled it a bit and...

Re: Review My Crabitat (Updated)

This tat is so cute! The only thing I would suggest is, on the right hand side where the cholla wood is you have a big section of empty glass. If you hung some netting from suction cups there, it would look cute and more importantly give your crabs even more space that they can climb on/use. Plus as...

Re: I got started on my HC tattoo

So far I'm 8 hours in on this new school hermit crab design. The line work, shading, and background are all complete. My artist will get me in, in a few weeks to finish the coloring. This is is on the back of my right calf. The same artist did my left calf five years ago. Artist: Greg Dorman Shop: ...

Re: Moving

Love it! I love that big wood piece, is that the piece you were looking for that kind of looks like a stump? Or am I thinking of something else? Add a few small climby plants to the front for a little more greenery, or a few things up front. I actually just added some more fake plants to my tank an...

Re: Moving

The V2 looks awesome. I knpw the feeling of wanting to do better, I'm still kicking myself for not making more levels for my crabs on my background. Sent from my SM-G935F using Tapatalk Thanks Aussie! It's funny you should bring your tat up bc after I got my tat set up the other night I was telling...

Re: Moving

Ugh omg that took me SOOOOOOO much longer than I thought it would. Ok tats up, I think its gonna be a big improvement on my previous build. I made the walls on the shell shop alot bigger, used fishing twine to support the front bridge in the middle of the tat, and took the crab wheel off the back of...

Re: New crabs

Was he willing to give you the crabs? He was willing to *sell* me the crabs after he realized I was right and that no one else would want them. It was so crazy when he gave them to me he was practically tearing up about it and how sad he was that he had to rehome them which, on the one hand it was ...

Re: Moving

Thanks for all the well wishes guys! It is a ton of work, but this move has given me an opportunity to correct some mistakes I made the first time around so I think the re-build will be even better than the first. I'll post pics when its finished!

Re: New crabs

So exciting! When I was filling up my colony I adopted 2 crabs off of craigslist. The experience made me really angry because the guy didnt want to sell me the crabs if I wasn't going to buy his aquarium/crummy set up, which sounds like the lady who sold u 2 crabs. I told him he was lucky I was offe...

Re: Brave guy

Ur crabs are brave! I think mine have gotten alot more tolerant of people but I dont know if they'd stick around with my hand in the tat!

Re: Moving

Ok, 6 crabs recovered alive and not molting, 1 crab discovered dead in sub. I had about 2 inches of sand left in 1 cor er of the tat when I uncovered the last crab. I really thought he was a gonner. Hers a pic of my transport tote. Dont worry I'll add some water / food before I go to bed although I ...

Re: Moving
