Or add dry if you wish.

Re: How in the world?!

They grow like weeds when they are little! One of my girls went from a tiny little small to a mid sized medium in the span of like two years. It's great to watch! :) Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk It is quite amazing!! Slightly alarming to me too lol. I'll need a bigger crabitat I guess. I agre...

Re: Crabs aren’t very active

Hi! Welcome! I don't have a lot of time to respond more in depth, but the humidity really needs to be at 80 degrees F minimum. That would probably help with activity. They need the higher humidity for their modified gills. [emoji4] I got mine in August too, and they've been under a lot for months bu...

Re: Substrate?

The only reason I use the bubblers is because I feel it keeps the water looking a little better. I don't have issues with humidity. How often do you change out your pools? Sent from my XT1585 using Tapatalk I change my water once a week. :) Sent from my iPhone using Tapatalk K thanks again! :)

Re: Thoughts on purchasing painted shells?

Totally understand. And thank you for sharing your thoughts / beliefs. I guess my line of thinking was on an individualistic level for the crabs, meaning I feel terrible for the ones in petstores and would like to help the ones I can. Obv I'm limited in how many I can help lol, but they are there an...

Re: Our first ponds.

My goal was weekly but it's more like every 2 wks. But if the water seems to be getting low, I top it off. Ok thanks! I assume that's because you have an air bubble you can do that? I don't have an air bubble and change the water like every two days Sent from my XT1585 using Tapatalk I only have a ...

Thoughts on purchasing painted shells?

Curious on what everyone's thoughts are about purchasing crabs with painted shells. I know painted shells basically kill. But I also feel like there's value in purchasing these crabs to give them a better chance (and of course plenty of shells to *hopefully* move into). So, do people here steer clea...

How in the world?!

Super excited to see this little (big) guy tonight. Totally freaked me out when I looked in the tank and saw him right there in front of me! I never see the crabs it seems like lol. I actually thought he was much smaller than this. How in the world did he grow so much?! Lol. Do they grow that fast??...
