I don’t like this heater. It doesn’t all stick to the tank, so it doesn’t touch the tank and it only keeps it at 70, which is not warm enough!

I haven’t smelled anything but I think he is dead. I looked through a small hole in thecup at him and his eyes are down and he is still hanging out of the shell and hasn’t moved.

I accidentally dug up a my crab Santiago while he was molting! He has been down over a month so when I dug him up I thought it was no big deal, but I was wrong! It’s a 20.

I have one E and 2 PP. At the moment they are all under an inch and live in a 10 gallon but when one of the PPs comes up from a molt they will be moving into a larger home!

My local PetCo just got a shipment of new crabs in.... and they are all Es! Es are by far my favorite BUT they are all in PAINTED SHELLS!
I really want another E but I am so torn because of the stupid shells!
What would you all do??

The room I keep them in gets super hot in the summer so I want to move them to a different tank for the summer in a cooler room.
I just have some molting and want them to hurry up and come back up haha. I just hope none of the others decide to molt between now and then... haha

As the title says... How Hot is too Hot?
I have my crabs in my den, but over the summer it gets SO HOT in the room that I am afraid the crabs tank would over heat, but before I move them, I am curious what the How Hot is too Hot? temp would be for PPs and some Es!

Friday I finally saw one crab, of the 5. But I haven't seen any since then. My crabitat feels so empty, it's like no one is living there!

I haven't seen any of my crabs since Saturday morning... Is that normal?? Should I look for them? lol

Walmart has a variety of show caddies that you can get.
I use them in my crabitat, not that the crabs ever go to the second stories that I know of though lol
