Something you can do in the future if you can't seem to keep the temp up is insulate your tank. If you have any leftover cardboard boxes or styrofoam you can tape aluminum foil to one side, then tape that (with the foil facing inwards) to the walls of your tank that do not have a zoomed heater attac...

Sometimes if I take the shells out of my crabitat and boil them in treated salt water and then put them back in, my crabs become way more interested in them. Maybe give that a try?

It's on both front joints but no where else. It looks very symmetrical when you see him walking from the front so I dont think it is something stuck in there.

I recently adopted some new crabs from some neighbors and just noticed the bushy black hair on this crabs claws. They are only located on the joint of his claws. I've never noticed this on any of my other crabs before. Is this normal? It honestly looks like a fake beard! Also sorry the picture isn't...
