How many bags of sand should I get for ~6 inches of substrate for my new 55 gallon tank? I'm adding a brick and a half of compressed eco earth in addition to that as well.

I have it and it seems to work pretty well

Is well water treated with prime safe? We've never had any issues with our water quality, and prime should get all the heavy metals etc. out right?

Your tanks are so beautiful! The perfect combination of pretty and functional. How many crabs do you have in each? I would love to add a topper to one of my tanks one day, and these pictures are total goals.
