Re: Lighting timers

Just make sure that you can put a 2 of those on one outlet. Some are too bulky. I've returned quite a few.

Re: Crabitat to crabiphat!

If it's within your budget, you could get a Wyze camera and put in a microsd. It'll record any movement so you'll know if they're coming up in the middle of the night.

Re: Moving crabitat?

How are they currently set up, and how big is their permanent home?

Re: New to this

Set up your bigger tank first. Move the crabs over when they surface. I adopted some crabbies and their entire tank; there's still 2 of 5under from 2.5 months ago (which is normal).

Crabby friends

When bulldozer joined the group, he flipped backwards when he saw the bigger Pebbles. Scurried to the other side of the tank, and had antennae fights every now and then. I don't know why, but all crabs likes that ONE particular spot and side of the tank. Eventually, Bulldozer made his way with the g...

I've wanted to take another photo, but it's probably dug into the sand now. Thanks!

Re: Hamster wheels

Sorry for late reply, but there are also hamster wheels that you can building with a fidget spinner or hobby shop bearings attached to a plastic Tofu container or other Tupperware. Youtube has a lot. I personally haven't made any yet, but I've seen a few in @Motörcrab and @Xenocrab tank. Sent from m...

Re: 90 gal basic setup

Wow. You have really thought this through. I have a 90 gal. I use tupperware containers, doubled, buried in the sand. My plan for my next upgrade, whenever that is, would be to have them on surface to provide more digging space. If you're using 5.5 gal tanks for pools I would think you can't double...

Re: Possible new tank, got some questions.

What's the dimensions of the tank? That'll help with the calculation for amount of EE and sand. For the lid, 2 pieces is better than 1 piece to ensure something is preventing moisture from escaping while you do maintenance. I'm actually upgrading too, so currently in the same boat. I'm cons dering 3...

Is he a pp?

He recently moved into my big tank. Changed shells while in old one from a green turbo to this cone one. He was quite yellow a few days ago, but is coloring up. I suspected he molted as he was down for at least 2 months, when I took their tank. Is he a pp? https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20190909/6...

90 gal basic setup

I'm currently waiting for my stand to bw picked up, and to clear an area to set it up... but in the meantime, I have a two setup questions, but it guess it's mainly preferences. The tank is 48" long, 18" wide, and 24" tall. 1.I bought two 5.5 gals (16" x 8" x 10") for the fresh and saltwater pools. ...

How big is your tank? It makes me want to bust out my 55 gal aquarium from my Dad's basement. If only my house weren't so small. [emoji39]
