When tbis was taken it was 6". This tank is a 29ga tall so I cut off the sub in the pic. I have since downsized as we lost several crabs.

Re: Indiana, Many PPHC need rehomed
I think I got it so I'm waiting on one to come up from a molt before I transport them. If you are sure you are willing to take them on I can contact you then. Sound good? Can you pm me your email? My son has lost interest after a few of them died.

Re: Indiana, Many PPHC need rehomed
Hi, so are you looking to adopt out and not take any more on? I have 3 crabs that need a new home. I'm willing to drive them to you and I have some supplies that would come with them.

3 PP need a new home ~ Cincinnati
Hi, We have decided to adopt out 3 PP. My son got these on vacation and its become clear the care for these animals is much more difficult than we initially thought. Also he has lost interest in them. We live in the cincinnati area and I would be willing to drive an hour or so to meet someone who wa...

Re: Crab out of shell
No, it certainly came on really sudden but I'm suspicious our crabs are not coming out at all. Even for food, water... I'm putting out some cooked shrimp for them tonight. Its solid white and if any touch it I'll be able to see substrate on it by tomorow. Ive done everything Ive read about except sw...

It was too late, it didnt make it through the night. Although, there is no evidence the other crabs went near it.

Naked crab
Sooo... Came home to one of my crabs walking around nude. Do I do anything? Hes got 6-8 options for new shells but he didnt take any. I can see now he was too big for the shell he was in.

Re: New Ultratherm--Potential Placement Issue?
Mine mostly dig right in front of the uth so id say its fine to place it right away. If you are worried just flip the tank around and place it on the other side, assuming the furniture wont need repositioned like mine would.

Re: Crabitat to crabiphat!
I don't think it would work that way, I have close to 8" of all EE in there now. I would have to remove a lot of it to get it the way I want it. Guess I will just wait them out, might set an alarm for 3am to see who's coming out at night.

Crabitat to crabiphat!
So ive recently planned some upgrades/purchased some new furniture and toys for my crabs. I'm also planning a substrate change from all EE to a mix of sand and EE. The problem I'm having is my crabs are not coming up much right now and im afraid to disturb them in case they are molting. I have 5 pp ...
