Re: Worried

I'm so sorry. As I do not have a saltwater pool right now(almost have it, need one more material) I thought it would be alright. I did not know it would stress them out! I'm so sorry, now I feel like crap. Casey, I'm so sorry if my advice further harmed Flash. It's totally my fault! I'm so so sorry...

Re: Lost Limbs

The bugs sound like they could be springtails or food mites, which are harmless. They help clean up leftover food and crabby poo lol.

Re: Lost Limbs

As long as you don't notice the other crabs picking on him, he should be ok in the main tank. He still has his little pincher? He can use that to help get food to his mouth. But like Pumpkin mentioned, you can offer him powdered food or food in bite size pieces to make it easier to grab. He should r...

Re: Allentown, PA 1 Crab needs new home

Crabbylover77, are you the moderator in here? how do I add pics in here? Nope, just a fellow crabby lover lol. I believe the Tapatalk app might not show up in the Google play store at the moment, but that is the easiest way to add pics. You can go to your photos in your phone, tap "share", then tap...

Re: Allentown, PA 1 Crab needs new home

What breed? If u don't know then you can send pics to me. I can only take certain breeds which is why I am wondering. I noticed you're in a different state than the person looking to re-home their crab. Currently, the HCA recommends not shipping crabs at this point because of the delays within the ...

Re: Hermit Crab Stopped Moving While Changing shells

Is he naked? Or is he actually in the smaller shell that's in the bigger shell? The 2 shells could be stuck together. If he's naked though, he needs to be re-shelled asap, and you should fill out the rest of the template so we can get a better look into your tank conditions. http://www.hermitcrabass...

Re: New rescue goldfish

Congrats on the new goodies. They look pretty big and chunky, how big are they? Sent from my SM-G975F using Tapatalk Thanks! They are pretty hefty. They are appx 13 cm nose to tailfin. My original guy is appx 15 cm nose to tailfin. I'm thinking the newbies are girls since they are so round and fat ...

Re: New rescue goldfish

Oh my goodness, so cute! they must be so happy.I   Aw thanks so much! I was worried about Poseidon getting along with the newbies. He hasn't seen any new fish in 3 years. So I was thankful that he didn't mind more company! [emoji846] Sent from my Moto G (5) Plus using Tapatalk

New rescue goldfish

I rescued 3 big goldfish last week that were living in a 10 gal tank with 2 other goldfish (so 5 big fish in a 10 gal). I previously rescued Poseidon (the lightest fish in the pics) 3 years ago from a family that was moving and didn't want him anymore. He was kept in a 5 gal tank. They are all getti...

The HCA is recommending not to ship crabs at this time because of the delays going on within the USPS.
