Re: Cost of Hermit Crabs in Your Area
My local pet store sells them for 7 USD for a small crab, but 15 for the ones with painted shells (ugh).

thanks dude B)aussieJJDude wrote: ↑Mon Nov 16, 2020 4:02 pmA 29g should last them for a number of years, but as they get bigger you may want to upgrade to a larger tank (say a 40g breeder) to keep em happy.

Is a 29 Gallon Tank a good size for three hermies?
Hey guys! Just as the title asks, I was wondering if a 29 Gallon Tank a good size for three hermies? My herms have been okay in their 10g, and I can't thank you all enough for this website, because these are the healthiest hermits I've ever cared for :) But, they're all about the size of a golfball ...

Thank you!HermitofHermitCrabs wrote: ↑Sun Oct 18, 2020 8:43 amI've tried several different brands of playsand and my favorite is Lowe's brand, but it costs a bit more than the sand from Sutherland's. They're all suitable for crabs so in the end it doesn't really matter.

Ahh, I ordered from there a while back. Like Motor, it took under a month to arrive, and my crabs loved what they got (I ordered some Cholla, and a few sample packs, all of which my little piggys devoured)!
