We have 2 purple pinchers looking for a new home. Happy to provide the entire crabitat (20 gallon tank, 2 water dishes, shells, climbing things, etc.) or just the crabs. One is very outgoing, and one is very shy. We are in the Bel Air, MD area. Please let me know if interested!

We have 2 hermit crabs - one buried itself 5 weeks ago, and the other one about 4 weeks ago. They were not eating and no evidence of them coming up, so I assumed they were molting. About a week ago, there was evidence of one coming up (a hole where he came out of, disturbed substrate where he re-bur...

I was wondering if anyone has suggestions for how to keep the crabs from burying their extra shells? I saw some folks keep them on a second level, but I only have a 10-gallon tank and don’t really have the space for a second level. Other thoughts? Thank you!
