sorry, so is it colored sand? or just regular, untreated playsand?
if it's just playsand then it should be fine

the purpose, to me is threefold: makes your tank look a lot nicer and fuller, the crabs can hide behind them and it makes them feel just a bit closer to home

try to find some without wiring that the crabs could get too as well as ones that are scented

i think its narnar who has a blind crab and i believe shes been that way since like 2006... (correct me if im wrong!) so i dont know if it'll ever improve

I also worry about the possibility of splinters in the coir. im just wondering why you would put crushed oyster shells in your tank then if you have this concern? ive been thinking about this or a while now, and in the wild no substrate is ever going to be without debris such as pieces of wood, lea...

my camera is really good.. not high end or anything but yet for some reason i can never get great shots of my crabs
