I went thru a glass lid, DIY plexiglass lids, 3 light fixtures, a lamp stand, and 5 light bulbs before breaking down and ordering an Ultratherm UTH from Bean Farm [emoji28] they aren't too costly and work SO GREAT! What does a flooded tank look like?
Has anybody used a straw to collect a core sample? I'm not even sure i'd know what i'm looking for if i did that, but i read that suggestion in a diff thread and it seemed like a smart idea.
Am i supposed to dump the sample out and just judge the ejected sub?
