Re: Aussie Breeding Success Dec 2016/Jan2017

Can't see any reason to change the name. She has outgrown the huge shell she picked in February and ignored the 15-18mm shells. I’ve added som 18-20mm but the shell she is checking out quite seriously is 28mm [emoji33] What is happening to my babies[emoji24][emoji30][emoji15] https://uploads.tapata...

Re: Aussie Breeding Success Dec 2016/Jan2017

Got a good look at Monster's underside this morning when SHE was trying to climb the front glass of the tank.. She is the biggest of the juveniles. You don't grow if you don't eat. BUT I still can't find that prawn tail. Fortunately it was only shell not meat (well maybe scraps of meat)

Re: Aussie Breeding Success Dec 2016/Jan2017

The little one in the striped shell changed last night into a babylonian. Well I think it was that one but I can't remember if it was zigzag (named for shell) or some other one in a striped shell that is in the photo.

Re: Aussie Breeding Success Dec 2016/Jan2017

Further update, still have 6-8 babies going strong. Hard to tell how many coz you never see them all at the same time and some are in shell that are very similar. They are now 19mths old.
