Re: Is this a bad sign?

Hello, your tank is not suitable for hermit crabs.
Those mesh cages are not large enough, and they cannot hold humidity and correct amounts of substrate.
Please read over the forum guides to properly set up a tank :)

Re: Room Sprays

Okay, I will need to be really careful when entering my room when oil is sprayed.
I am not one for using air fresheners, but sometimes I cannot stop the people who use them.

I agree with Crab happens, foggers and excessive misting can cause floods!

Noelle, soon to be momma. Franny and some outtakes. She won't stop talking long enough for clear photos. Re: how often you rotate in food?

I am an overfeeder, just because my crabs seem to be messy with the food, so I tend to offer more so others can have a chance :)

Re: New dilemma

Edit: In the future, if a crab drops a limb(s), it is best to isolate them; give raw honey, proteins and calcium. Also don't handle them. Hey there. So, how long would that be for ya think? Till the limb fully grows back? Till after a molt? Sent from my SM-G950U using Tapatalk I believe that limbs ...

Re: New Bark and Branches!

@GotButterflies
I found the right number, and called the public health department.
They said they only spray in that area when there is a health threat, and the last recorded spraying was last year.

What do you think?

Re: Bumping into the tank?

Yes, he doesn’t do it now. Here’s my stand and and tank. https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20180829/9a36e7d51d3bfb238affca6ab58cb032.jpg He typically puts his feet at the bottom, and then pushes off a little, which wiggles the entire tank around. He does it on his tank, which is most likely why he do...

Re: NEW crabs

Sadly, all crabs bought from a store are wild caught.
Yes, Es need protein or else they will become aggressive against other crabs due to a lack of proper nutrition, leading to cannibalism

Re: Bumping into the tank?

I wasn’t the one who bumped into it, but my youngest brother likes to put his foot on the stand, which shakes the tank.

Re: NEW crabs

Hello! The one on the right is not an E, that's a PP. Here, we recommend ten gallons per E, at least 10" - 12" of substrate, and two calcium and protein choices at all times :) Here is a better pic of the white one I just put in tank https://uploads.tapatalk-cdn.com/20180829/db4daa8cf7faf3fb94ba462...

Bumping into the tank?

Would bumping into my tank by accident cause any issues if there are molters under?
