I think if you do enough research on each species, and have the tank conditions good for both species, you should be good. However, sometimes some people have problems with things related to aggression or digging up molters so you might want to be careful. Because of that some people separate diffe...

Hey not meaning to be rude, but you are a fairly new crab owner. It is probably best you stick with purple pinchers until you have more experience. I'm in the same boat. I wou L like to get some eccies but I'm only a six month crabber. I say wait IMO

Thanks! So far it's holding up! I made the water dishes. Hopefully I will get moss tomorrow. Still waiting for a molter to come up though!

2 of mine are down under and have been molting for 2 weeks. i have 2 smalls and 2 teenys. or is it mini? whatever. they are the next size down, but one is about to get a little bit bigger after her molt! she is a violacen and is very shy. please send hopeful words because she was missing an entire ...

I'm so sorry. I was thinking he was going to make it and I prayed for him. I got attached. When I heard he passed, I cried a little. It's a amazing to think how thes e tiny creatures capture our heart like that, especially when they are not your own. That is a beautiful memorial.

AussieJjdude I know because I saw him up a few nights ago. He has dug up and ate a crab before, if that helps.
