Re: What are these pink things in my cage?

If they are shaped like candy sprinkles, they are poop! It can come in different thicknesses and lengths and firmness, and what they are eating does affect the color. Mineral powders turns it white, carrots turn it orange, etc. "Candy sprinkles", love it LOL!!! Sent from my Moto G (5) Plus using Ta...

Re: Maple leaves

Glad you got to bake your leaves! I bake leaves in my oven all the time. So far I have oak, maple, and white mulberry leaves all chopped up and in baggies. The crabs seem to enjoy them all. On the other hand, my Mom does not enjoy the smell of leaves getting crispy in the oven LOL. She deals with it...

Re: What do you have out at all times?

He's back!! When I got home from work last night I noticed half the chia garden was caved in. Crab Latte was in the coconut hut, just chilling. He's eating really well. Where do you get your calcium power at? He's devoured the eggshell powder and is even nibbling the cuttle bone. Yay that's awesome...

Re: Needing Small Shells

I second Naples. They have green and silver turbos in 3/8", 1/2", 5/8", and 3/4" for a decent price. They have others that are 7/8" too.

Re: What do you have out at all times?

It's my first molt and I really miss them, LOL. The biggest one has been done for 6w and the two smaller ones for 3w. I'll put some dry food and egg shell powder out for them, as they don't seem to like the cuttle bone much. I totally understand. I miss mine when they're under too! Give calcium pow...

Re: What do you have out at all times?

Just wondering if there are foods that should be available all the time, even during a molt (in case they come up when you aren't home/are sleeping). I have worm castings, chia seeds and sprouts, cuttle bone, and grow celery in the tank all the time, they seem to like the leaves. I'm especially wor...

That's good to hear. I'd def just let him be, and maybe put a little extra food around that he can access from different areas in the tank. [emoji846]
