I wonder if? If you are in Egypt at the Moment, Maybe you could try the U.S Embessy? Talk with somebody there. They Should be able to help ya. They could tell ya if the Hermit would be able to be "Exported" from Egypt, and they should also be able to tell ya if they can be Imported into the U.S. Goo...

Yes, they will fall out of the Shell. You could *Gasp* Flush Them or *Gasp*
Feed them to the LHCs you have.

I definately would not Advocate "Smuggling"!!!!! It just is not worth the time in Jail and Fines!
When I came home from Iraq, we had Customs Agents Search ALL or Baggage...And I do Mean Everything was thoroughly Searched.

I use the shells of the departed. In the wild, the shells are are used by
Hermies that are looking for a New Home.
I am sorry you lost them. I expected it though :(
Keep the shells and re-use them.
Don't give up on trying to have a Marine tank.

With Luck, They May Survive the Night! They are extremely Stressed at the Moment. As soon as You Can, get those Items I mentioned. And do an Immediate Water Change after You have the Stuff. I learned how to keep Marines the exact same way as you! I have Lost at least 30 Marine Hermies early on from ...

You Really Need Instant Ocean Or Oceanic. These are Specific for Marine Tanks. Sea Salt, Iodine is okay! It is the Anti-Caking Agents found in most "Table" Salts. IO or Oceanic contains Vital elements that would be found in the Ocean. Not to break your Heart, But I really do not think these guys are...

Thank You Annopia for the PM! Here is the Best thing to do. Get a 10 Gal Aquarium. And a Hang over the Back Filter. You Need to get Any of the Commercially Available "Marine" Salt for "Marine" Tanks.
