Re: Here it goes again with the dying crabs again
Have you doubled checked these readings with another temp/humidity gauge? Years ago I had a problem with my heating system and lost heat for a couple of days (still had electric). I had a large aquarium with no tank heater because the room temperature was always around 75 degs F. So I went and boug...

My one friend had a crab that did that before. I was watching her crabs one time while she was away.

Humidity question
Is it ok that the humidity fluctuate from the mid 70’s to the mid 80’s all day long?? My digital humidity/temp likes to read different numbers through out the day. The temp like to between 75-79 but, i had the humidity read one time 71 then later in the day 81.

Just to add, now that I have time... I actually had API dechlor without the slime (stress) coat. API - Dechlorinates aquarium water, Removes chlorine, chloramines & heavy metals. Prime - Removes chlorine and chloramine, Detoxifies Ammonia, Nitrite & Nitrate. (+ on the back "It will also detoxify an...

Re: Here it goes again with the dying crabs again
I do have a glass canopy on it. I do also have a regular tank hood that i have just for light on it. The crabs seem fine right after i get them going to food dish and eating and climbing everywhere. My 2 water dishes are the medium ramp bowls.

Here it goes again with the dying crabs again
I had lost about 3 crabs within a month and a half. I dont know why it keeps happening. 1. What kind of substrate is used in your tank and how deep is it? EE and sand with more EE then sand and its about 6inches 2. Do you have gauges in the tank to measure temperature and humidity? If so, where are ...
