If you have a bubbler and a humidifier both adding fresh air INTO the tank, you do not need a hole as big as that seems to be to allow for air flow. Here is my lid setup on the tank. I have a heat lamp that has a moon glo light bulb that I leave on and a 30-40 UTH mounted on the back not touching the substrate. screen lid with plastic wrap with one corner uncover and half of plexi glass under lid. The tank size is a 20gal long.

I know I should of waited til he came back up but, I been having difficulties getting the humidity to reach 80. I even bought a new humidity gauge. I had to add a bubblier and diy humidifier and still struggling on getting the humidity up to at least 80. I also been misting the tank everyday too. An...

My thermometer has probe on the end of the cord. My room is is about 73. I'm afraid to take my plexiglas glass off cause when I didn't have the it on the tank themp was about about 70-73 the same as my room temp and that was with 2 UTH and heat lamp on.

Is it Possible

Jaws just recently finish molting and I had notice today that he is missing a leg. Is it possible for a crab to lose a leg while molting?? He must of switch shells with Spindle cause now they are in each other shells.
