Tonight the crabs are having a little surf and turf!
Surf being some smelt and sundried shrimp with cuttlebone powder, and the turf being romaine lettuce and celery. They're all over it already...it's gonna be a messy night

Wow! Beautiful cake! I would hate to have to cleant that up once they get it all over the 'tat! I bet Big 'Un is eying that cake with big eyes and a watering mouth! MacAndHunter hit it straight on. Not much to add. So, yes leave him be. If he is destressing he should be up in about 1-2 weeks, that's how long mine usually stay. If he is molting, he could be down for as long as a month. In the mean time, take advantage of this free time and set up the ten gallon ...

i gladfully signed this petition. i am always natural, but for some reason i can never find hermit crabs in stores with natural shells. i provide only natural shells for the crab, so that way they can live a healthy life. i dont ever think painted shells will be banned, since it is a big money maker...
