6 crabbies

Post by yonava » Sat May 19, 2018 4:47 pm

Hello everyone. I have PMed one person to see if they would be willing to take the crabs but their add said they could only take 2.

I got in over my head when I took on my friends hermit crabs. They have been with me for 6 months but still do little to nothing. Even at night they don't play around and rarely ever climb anything. I found one out of his shell dead in the water dish last week. He was finally going to molt from his aweful painted shell.

I'm looking for an AWESOME forever home for these poor guys.
I would like pictures of your set ups and I'd like to know how long you have been raising hermits.
I live in Idaho but can travel or can figure out how to ship them to you.

Please help. I have changed their cage around 3 times, put in tons of toys and new shells, I have lots of logs and rocks for them to climb on......they just aren't happy at ALL with me.

The person can't take any at this time. So, all 6 are still available.
Thanks again.

Please give a rough location, or local crabbers won't know where you are!

Hi I live in Baltimore Maryland, kinda really far away. But I have three Hermies in a 50 gallon tank, two golf ball sized and one quarter sized. I have only had them for a short time but one has already molted so I think that they like it there!!. I use eco Earth for substrate (6 inches) and feed them an all natural diet. I spray the tank 5 times a day to keep the humidity at 80% and the temp is constant at 75°. I will only be able to take one or two of your crabs if that would be okay because I don’t want to over croud. I have lots of places for them to climb, and hide, and they love to burry!!

I live in Modesto, Ca. If you can bring them, I'd love to have them.
