Crabs Need Home in NC

Due to some unexpected life changes I have decided to re-home my crabs. I love them dearly, but cannot guarantee them the proper care at this chapter of my life.

Location: Mt. Airy, NC
I can travel about an hour in any direction. My car is on its last legs so I am not comfortable taking it out much farther than that.

I have around 25 crabs - ranging from smalls to maybe a bigger medium.

I have a couple of 10 gallon tanks and a TON of supplies - if you'd like to take in some of my crabs, let me know how many and if you would like any supplies. If you need anything in particular, please let me know and if I have it, it's yours if you're adopting!

Hello! Did you find homes for all of your crabbies?

I’m in NC and looking for a friend or two for my lonely PP. Her crabitat mate of almost 5 years recently passed. I just stumbled upon this forum while searching for some new friends for her. Thanks,
StripeyZebra44

Emberfusion said that you can take some of the items IF you are adopting.

No, I’m not adopting. I just thought I could ask for the items without the crabs because my tank is full.

Sorry for the slow responses. I don't get on here much anymore.

I'm still looking to downsize, if not find homes for all of them. I think I have one PM from someone willing to take a few, so let me go through and see who can take some.

& No, I'm not just giving out supplies to just anyone for free, sorry.

Thank you emberfusion for responding. I will keep watching for someone else who has already adopted out their crabs but still has supplies available. I am even willing to ask someone in one of my Facebook groups.

Hey there! I’m just up the road in Abingdon, Va, and we have been hunting for some crabby friends for our single guy, Dave. Actually, I don’t know that he’s a guy, he might be a Davina. Regardless, I would be extremely interested in some of the crabs fiends and maybe a larger tank (we have been needing a larger one, but Dave is molting atm!) I would love to talk with you some more. Thanks!!

Hello, I live outside of Charlotte NC. I have a 55 gallon tank that has 8 crabs (: I am thinking of starting another crabitat a smaller one in my smaller tank, with small crabs. Are you still looking to rehome some crabs. I could take 3 smalls. I would take more, but my empty tanks are just too small for a large amount.

I can take one or two crabbies! I’m about 4 hours away from Mt Airy but I can meet you halfway if you’re willing.
