Fort Lauderdale, FL: Cute Hermit Crab Needs Home ASAP
Hi,
I don't have a proper flyer, but I have a hermit crab that my sister bought from a beach shop, unfortunately we do not have the means to care for him right now nd we dont want him to be stress or lose any limbs or die. We are looking for someone nice to adopt him preferably asap.
Location: Fort Lauderdale, Florida
How Far Will You Travel?: Not a lot but can be discussed.
Would You Be Willing to Ship?: No
Number of Crabs, Size of The Crabs, and Species If Known: 1 Crab, Medium, Unknown
Supplies and Tank That Are Included (If Any): He comes in a small plastic crate that we got at the beach shop, and he comes with some food.
Adoption or Supply Fee Being Asked (If Any): N/a

In the meantime, I wanted to send you these: Hermit crabs can eat a lot of the same things that we eat. Just check to make sure the item is on the safe list. Foods should be organic when possible. Hermit crabs are sensitive to pesticides and fertilizers.
You also want to provide one or more calcium sources at all times. Examples would be Cuttlebone, Organic Eggshell, Oyster Shell, Lobster Exo, Shrimp Exo.
Make sure you cover all aspects of food pyramid

Has this crab been adopted? I have medium to large hermit crabs i would definitely be interested in adopting after they tent my house (so this weekend) I'm in Davie, FL
