Adopters outside of the United States and Canada

This is the thread for any member outside of the United States and Canada who is able to adopt hermit crabs.

If a particular country or region sees a large number of available adopters and adoptees, then posts from that area will be split off and a new thread will be created that will be maintained the same as the States and the Canada thread.

Looking to adopt/buy hermit crabs in Brisbane QLD!

Hey my name is Jack, me and my girlfriend just recently bought hermit crabs.. We have 3 small crabs living in a 40 gallon fish tank with about 3 - 4 inches of knitters crumble which is like Eco earth.. We also have some hiding/climbing rocks and toys for them.. We have salt and fresh water air filtered rock pools that are about 2 and a half inches deeps. Also have a good variety of new shells of all different sizes throughout the tank.. We feed them new random foods daily fresh out of our fridge.. We have a thermometer in the tank to keep temperatures good and we have tank only slightly opened to lock in the humidity.. We are using a snake enclosure light on one end of the tank.. So one end is warm and it is cooler through out the tank so crabs can choose wich temperatures they like the most instead of having the same temperature throughout the whole tank.. We don't play with the crabs really at all just look at them through the glass so you know the crabs won't be getting harassed often.
:P

If you are in or near Brisbane region and are looking to get your crabs a new home let me know and I will see if I can help you.

This is only my first post on here but will be posting a lot more.!

Thanks
-Jack

In Melbourne area, just starting up my 115 G tank.

Don't feel like supporting those pet shops with less than ideal hermit crab conditions, so would like to adopt instead.

Please email me if anyone has any crabs that need a good home.

Sydney region.

Had crabs for a few months now and recently upgraded to a 75g tank. I currently have 2 small-medium crabs and 3 tiny ones. Im looking for a few more to add to my tank but would rather not buy from the pet shop! Am willing to drive a decent amount to pick them up and the crabs will be in a loving home with proper care guaranteed.

I live in the Melbourne region and I would like to adopt a hermit crab, preferably two, as it is the ethical thing to do. I’ve done an extensive amount of research and am now just waiting to give a hermit crab loving home. If you’re looking to give away your hermits please respond to this post or contact me at my email: kaiharkess08 at gmail.com
Thanks! :-)
