Crusty is usually all smiles! He does gets stressed out when Fleabag travels without him!

Image

I thought about doing a "How to tell the mood of your crab" guide with Crusty a few times!

@GotButterflies Crusty will be making an appearance in our presentation too! I'm a little nervous about the presentation. So is Crusty if you can't tell. We never did anything like this before so hopefully it isn't too terrible.

We aren't really going into a lot of technical information. We are covering shopping for crab foods. Barely touching on pesticides, and chemicals. Organic vs natural and the clean 15 and dirty dozen lists for foods. We are more or less drawing attention to chemicals but letting people make their own decisions since it's a very touchy subject. The second half of the presentation will be about dehydrating.

We even managed to sneak in a memorial to Eddie! :(

Coenobita Curiosities is pleased to offer a very limited run of 10 acrylic pins! Each pin measures 1-1/4 X 1-1/4 inches!

Our first design is the "Turn That brown Frown Upside Down!" The colors are much brighter and more clear than the photo shows!

We have about a dozen designs in our heads for future designs depending how these go over! Each pin is $10 and includes shipping. We will also include a matching "Brown Frowns Makes Me Smile" molting window cling!

The pin is listed under Hermit Crab Accessories.

They aren't stuffed animals! They're our marketing and sales team! 😆 They are a lot more fun than us!

A marketing team, what a great idea!
If I open an Etsy store, I think I'll be ready with my own team. These guys hang out in the pet room and watch over the crabs, tortoise, and fish.
Maybe this has something to do with why I'm still single??? LOLImage

We are excited to unveil our new logo and banner for the shop, just in time for Christmas! Thank you to Aunril Omenn (@aunril0 on Instagram) for working with us on this project! She really nailed exactly what we were looking for!

If anyone is wondering, Eddie is an E we lost due to a bacterial bloom we had in April of 2018. He dropped all but one leg while molting in the bloom. We found him while redoing the tank. I spent nearly a month handfeeding him several times a day before he passed. We wanted him to have his own place in the shop!
