@jennybecca- We won't be able to sell isopods this year. We have a bajillion, but it's too cold to ship them until probably May. And our isopod shipping containers won't arrive for probably 1-2 weeks still. But other people on here that live farther south can probably hook you up with them.
@crys_crab They love moose poop. In the wild, they eat all kinds of feces...including human!! lol.

best conversation ever. I'll have to dehydrate more poop today. My freezer is full of it. Just a tip on feeding it, you can spray it with dechlor water to rehydrate it and make it softer for the crabs.
The isopods aren't from here. Their range isn't this far north. I got them from bugs in cyberspace last summer. However, I have a female who has a color mutation and I'm trying to get colored babies from her! So maybe by next year, I will have my own "type". Her first batch of babies looks plain, but I'm going to keep trying, I think.
Oh, all orders placed yesterday before 10pm AST are going out today! My husband is working on getting the website to send out shipping notifications. One of those things we forgot about until now.

Mine are big fans of the birch leaves. I carpet the tank floor and they go nuts. And the carapace, I usually stick in the moss pits and they munch on it all day. It's usually gone in 1-2 weeks. Hope your crabs enjoy!!
