Live Zoea

This area is dedicated to the pioneers who have captive bred crabs, and for those who wish to learn more or attempt it themselves. Also for inquiring about the gender of your crabs.

Live Zoea

Post by RJ_9 » Tue Aug 30, 2016 3:47 am

Hello guys, I need some help here. It's 3am here and I found a female strawberry releasing some sort of liquid to my salt water pool. In the pool I see live zoea everywhere. I think they are close to 1000's. Any suggestions on what I need to do next? I don't think I could sleep tonight! Thank you

RJ

The best info i can give...
If you want to try to raise them set up a salt water tank. Idk if you've tried before but it's hard to do it and the success rate is not very good! You have to mimic the ocean exactly.

The breeding journals by Nat and Curlz and Dany are going to be your best resources. They're stickied in Health and Breeding.
