Fungus Gnats!!

Post by Meemo4556 » Sun Jan 15, 2017 9:51 pm

Eww! I have tons of fungus gnats in my tank! It started a couple of days ago and they just wont go away! I have taken away old food, taken out old substrate and changed food & water but they are still there! I even spray some salt water because I read online that it helps keep them away. Any tips for getting rid of them/any articles that are out there on how to get rid of them? Any help is appreciated!

According to the bugs in your tat you should get sticky fly traps and put them at the top of your crabitat near the lid so that your crabbies cannot get to them.

I don't think they have scents. Good luck!

Ive always been worried about doing that bc most of mine love climbing up top. I use the water bottle fly traps tho and they work great. Apple cider vinegar, dish soap and honey until it smells sweet but is is is slimy consistency
