Pseudoscorpions?!

Post by hermitcrabdc » Mon Dec 11, 2017 8:25 pm

Only because I'm curious, not because I'm looking into...
In light of finding a pseudoscorpion in the bathroom the other day (which I had NO idea were a thing, I didn't even know anything that looked like a scorpion existed in Ohio.), I'm curious if they'd be safe in crab tanks. They eat mites and other pests of the sort. Just curious :)

They are (were?) on the Bugs in the Crabitat guide and are harmless. It was how I found out they existed but I have yet to see one in person. Cool find! Not sure if the temperatures are good for them, generally Ohio animals need Ohio like conditions and seasons.

Good point, I guess it's good I'm not planning on throwing them in the tank.
Haha, Pretty sure the crabbies would not be a fan of Ohio weather...
