Post by Guest » Mon Jan 23, 2006 10:01 pm

Well, I have fruit flies all in my hermie tank and I've heard they get rid of not just the pesky mites buy fruit flies, too. Does anyone have the link to where you can buy them? :? Thanks! :)

Here's a link where you can get parasitic bugs:
http://www.simplyhydroponics.com/hired_bugs.htm
But they have none specifically for fruit flies. You can get rid of them by trapping them in a glass with beer, wine or vinegar with a drop of dish liquid and stopping to feed the crabs fruit for about two weeks.

Use vinegar... wasting the other two things on bugs is a crime....

So yea, I want to check if they're mites and if so, bad mites.

Some mites are good, some mites are bad. The good mites will eat the bad ones. That's all I know, LOL. Jedediah has more info.
