My wife had her Triple H for around 10 years. She has always taken care of her hermit crabs giving them heat, humidity, shells and a decent diet. Once we found the HCA about a year and a half ago we tweaked their according to the guidelines and advice we received on here as well. Since tweaking their care he and her other guys have grown considerably compared to before.

I have had my two crabs, Sonny and Cher, for almost 8 and a half years! Honestly, I have never used any site other than the HCA for care information. I did add another crab, from someone in the nearest city who was selling it for $10, but it didn't last long. I don't know how long she had it, but she didn't have even close to proper conditions, so am not surprised the poor thing didn't survive.

I have had mine for a year, as mine is a new set up.

I however have had one of mine at school I help take care of survive a hurricane as our area was not supposed to flood or take a direct hit and it did....he was stuck without proper conditions for up to two weeks. He is still going strong now five years later.
I have owned Hermit Crabs for 2 Years

I have 1 E named Monkey and 2 PP named Shy Guy and Little P

I also own 1 PP named Dory who stays in my classroom
