Humidity struggle

Post by JenniferRallison » Tue Jul 30, 2019 10:01 pm

Hi I’m having a really hard time keeping our 40 gal tank humid enough for our crabs. We use only ee for sub and have moss scattered around to help out at well. Tank had full lid cover to help keep moisture in. We have just been missing several times a day to keep it up but it feels like we are constantly playing catch up with the humidity levels. Anything that will be better to just keep the humidity up for us? Prefer our crabs could stay on the wet instead of the dry side!

What kind of lid is it?
What are your temp and humidity readings?
What kind/ type of thermometer/ hygrometer are you using? Have you calibrated it?
