Is this part of the exoskeleton

Post by jstein » Sun Oct 07, 2018 12:10 pm

About my fright yesterday that my baby Jora was in trouble this is what I found under the bath bowl - is this part of the exoskeleton? Almost two years with crabs and I’ve never seen this before - maybe the older ones always ate theirs before I could spot - as small as these pieces are it had to be Jora’s maybe this was his first time - he is on his 5 shell Image

Yep. If they're hollow then they're exoskeleton remnants.

This is his history of homes in almost 2 years - can that be with only one molt?
