Buckbeak’s molting cave

Post by crabby33 » Thu Dec 13, 2018 8:45 pm

Buckbeak dug down for his molt on Monday. He spent 24 hours tunneling around, searching for the perfect spot. Today, when I got home from work, he was building it up against the glass. So I quickly covered it to give him privacy and darkness to help trigger the molting hormone.

Thank you!!! But he didn’t stay there for very long. He decided that wasn’t the perfect spot and tunneled away.
