My first E molt

Post by Guest » Sun May 14, 2006 12:26 am

Butch just came up from his molt today! I am so excited. He was down for what seemed like forever but must only have been three weeks. He looks good too! He is a kind of cross between camo green and tanish. His two left legs had turned white soon after I got him and now they are a beautiful tan.

I would have pics, but he seemed unhappy with me taking him out to inspect, he has never been really social. I will try to take some in the next few days and post them here.

Oh, and he is my first molter to molt in my new deep substrate. Up until recently I had been using shallow substrate and moving molters to ISO. I like this so much better.

I know when I experience my first molt I felt like it was some sort of initiation that I passed. LOL

Congrats!
