I'd say this was a successful Shell haulImage All of these for only $20.54!! Joann's Fabrics was having a sale. Little Yippe and Olve will be ecstatic when they come up from molting!Image

I couldn't be happier! I'll have to snap a better picture tonight when I get home and have a chance to take everything out of the bags, sort out how many are the proper size and shape, and boil them.

I'm not sure if all of the stores are having the 30% off sale but it's definitely worth checking out!!

Hahaha you should see my crabs. They made their own run way under the sub. I can see them walking back and forth between the tank walls practicing their struts for the new shells

By the way, does anyone know what these shells are?? I imagine the crabs won't take to them. I need to double check the preferred Shell stickie. I read it once a while back

I don't know the name, but I got a bunch out of my Joann fabrics haul, along with a bunch of turbos. I put both in my tank but no one has gotten in any of the shells from my shopping trip. Hope your hermits like them better than mine

Those are Trochus shells. :) They aren't really a popular shell they wear though.

Yeah I just read up on them. Is it true you can crush up shells as a calcium supplement? I'll likely use them for that and gifts and crafts

Wow!! I'm going to have to do a drive by at Joanns! Looks like u got some of those whales or shark eye shells and I am in need of some for our little black sheep - only one that doesn't prefer turbos :)
