Possible shell jacking in progress

Should I be concerned if Violet is approaching Buckbeak from behind and touching and feeling his shell? I separated them and thought to put some banded Mexican Turbos underneath the driftwood where Buckbeak was hiding.

Crabs climb over one another and touch each other all the time. This is normal. Unless one crab is actively trying to rip the other from the shell or is holding the shell and rocking it aggressively, there is no cause for alarm.

I find that mine will walk over each other, it’s extremely common.
They like to feel the shells of other crabs, and if there isn’t any fighting going on, there is nothing to worry about :)
