Polish?

Post by KrankyKrab » Tue Oct 01, 2019 4:51 am

So I found a bunch of nice whale/shark eyes at the beach yesterday. After boiling them I realized that all my purchased shells have a polish.... now my natural shells are dull.

Does anyone safely polish their own shells? What do you use?

Olive oil is fine to use to polish the outside. Out a small bit on paper towel, and rub it in. :)

All good. It works in a pinch, before the crabs digging/climbing and general crabbing dulls them again
