Burning bush leaves and berries safe?

I was wondering if burning bush leaves and the little red berries are safe to feed hermit crabs? I picked some and have some drying just incase but I wanted to make sure it’s safe to feed them. I know they’re pesticide and fertilizer free, so they’re safe on that end. Image

I love feeding burning bush leaves, it also helps with coloration!

I just gave them some last night. Berries too. I have a huge burning bush out back. They loved it. Although I don't think they ate the berries yet

Just FYI, those berries take a lot longer to dry out than you'd think. I always stored this in a paper bag to allow for airflow so they wouldn't mold. They need to be completely dry before sealing up airtight in plastic.

Burning bush was always my most popular product, no matter how much I picked it sold out so quick!

I noticed the berries I picked to dry out compared to the small branch I picked off this morning, the berries looked like they had shed outer coating. I’ve never really given the tree much attention until I realized I could feed it to the crabs. The tree has only been here about 4/5 years, it was put into my kid’s grandmother’s landscaping, it’s a beautiful tree but I like it a lot more now. Thank you for berry drying info.

Gave them some pumpkin seeds and a piece of pumpkin. Also some worm castings in right white shell from Healthy Hermit, white shell on left eco mix and green sand from Earth Water Fire Studio. In the food dish I have mixes from both places. Got a new order from Healthy Hermit today so I’m excited for them to eat their new stuff. I feel bad, I was so sick when I got my order from Earth Water Fire Studio that I never shared. Both places very amazing foods and great people to order from.

I left some for Crabina in the iso tank(I guess that’s what it is now). I’m hoping she smells the pumpkin and comes out for a taste.

Down here in Florida it's too hot for Burning Bush plants. My crabbies are jealous! It looks so pretty in your tank!! :) I hope your crabbies like all of your new food that you ordered!

I bought an organic pumpkin from my local health food store. I've been so busy that it's been in the fridge all of this time!! LOL :)

Do you want me to send you some?
They love everything! I love feeding them, it’s fun picking out what I want to give. I normally give little scoops of everything so they can have what they want.
