So I was reading through the nutrient guide, and saw oxalic acids which caught my attention. I did some web surfing and found that a lot of leafy greens and peanuts that I plan to feed to my hermit crabs are high in oxalic acid. To remove this acid, I saw that you had to cook them for a very short amount of time. For this, do I cook them with water or just on its own? What heat and about how long? Do I have to cook the peanuts the same way?

Re: Oxalic Acid
Steaming or microwaving for a few minutes will suffice. Same as you would cook vegetables for yourself.
