Found a new hit!

We just got a new Traeger, so I brined and grilled some fat pork chops....the humans aren't the only ones who heartily approve!Image

Nope, the brine was salt, brown sugar, peppercorns, allspice, cloves, and a tiny splash of bourbon. But I didn't surface season before I grilled it. Just patted dry and brushed with olive oil

Pepper is toxic to hermit crabs I’m not sure about the rest but I don’t think some of the others are safe either. I think it’s fine for this one time but maybe next time don’t add any spices

I sincerely doubt that with 2 hours of brining, anything toxic managed to seep to the bone (which is all they got) but thank you.

My crabs do not appear to eat anything but Popcorn and Riced Cauliflower... that's it! Literally they don't touch ANYTHING else. I have tried all sorts of fresh fruit, vegetables, crackers, meat, even cat and dog food. freeze dried crickets, those gross wet crickets, etc... but look out if there is plain popcorn or tiny pieces of Cauliflower! they devour it!

If you are looking for a new hit dry cat food brand then I will recommend you Iams brand. Because it is very budget friendly and quality food item. Moreover it contains Chicken as the primary ingredient.

Cat food is not recommended for hermit crabs. It has a a lot of preservatives in it.
Truly blessed to have incredible creatures, wonderful friends and my amazing family in my life!! I'm very thankful & grateful for all of them! www.thehealthyhermit.com
