Difference between dried and freeze dried?

Post by crabs_lex » Thu Sep 03, 2020 3:23 pm

I have noticed while looking online for food that it is mostly labelled dried. I know the food list says freeze-dried for lots of the foods. I am wondering f there is a difference when giving it to the crabs?

No difference, it's just that some foods are more commonly found one way or the other.

Freeze-dried foods are going to retain nutrients better than dried, but hermit crabs will eat them all the same.
