wow I never knew that my crabs were missing out on half the nutrients they need...I need to get to the store and see how much of that I can get with 5 bucks...that's all I have left since I blew 20 on a skateboard... shouldn't have done that... :(

Thank you for the guide! Its very helpful :)

I was wondering though, can I get all this information in the reference book you listed? I plan on looking for it in the library as a reference to my report!!

No, not all this information is from the reference book. The basis of the crustacean diet comes from the reference book, while the rest is done from a little research and knowledge. :)

Is the Hermit Crab Addiction Store going out of business or something? Most of their stock is unavailable. I hope this just because they are seasonal items that aren't available year-round.

That is a good question. I've noticed that a lot of their stuff is seasonal.

If you're interested in ordering crab food, I have a lot of stuff leftover from my previous kibble shop and I made a post in Classifieds. :) Very cheap!

Thanks to the both of you for your hard work on this. What an excellent source! I see I have some food gaps to fill. I had no idea they needed so much protein. I happened to get my order from HCP last week and just happened to order dried bloodworms. They are chowing down on them things! Maybe I'll throw them a T-bone next week. :)

I will certainly bookmark this.

Fantastic post! I love reading this stuff! I currently offer my crabs at least 60 different type of foods both fresh and live to keep the options varied and to make sure they get the nutrients they need. heck my crabs eat better than I do! :)

Thank you for the wonderful information!

Now the safe foods from the safe foods list need to be put into each of those categories!

It's good to know I'm feeding them right :) I need to improve a bit, but I'm doing better than I though!
