I went trolling the pet store yesterday and picked up Nyjer Seeds and Kaytee Bird Greens, anyone have any experience with these ?
The Kaytee Bird Greens has the following listed as ingredients; Dehydrated Alfalfa Leaves, Dehydrated Carrots, Dehydrated Celery Leaves, Dehydrated Spinach, Dried Apple, Dried Peach, Dried Apricot, Pepper Seeds and Natural Flavour.

I had no idea what they were when I picked them up, I was just looking for some different seeds to feed my guys. I've been doing some research online and apparently they are prized by finches for their fat content;

They are Thistle seeds-very popular with finch type birds, you get them in Canary seed mix.
