Hey wanted to double check that a uth ... ultra therm was gonna be fine for a tote tank ? Was wonderi ng if it would heat to much cause it's a tote thinner then glass
Also was gonna get the heater to be alil longer to wrap around the sides and back ... ? To much or good idea ???

They do fine on totes. Agree with GB, if they are bent it can lead to the wires inside the UTH to bend, potentially breaking the heater and lead to a fire hazard.
