Digital Thermostat

Post by Scarletfire » Sat May 04, 2019 7:47 pm

I'm going to use heat tape, so I want to ensure the temperature is controlled properly. I've seem Herpstat and Vivarium Electronic's temperature controller with humidity readings. I was wondering if there's any other brands (that's not necessarily for reptiles) that may be less expensive. At over $200 CAD, it's really expensive. I saw that there's Inkbird on Amazon for half the price. Has anyone use this before?

I use an AcuRite Room Monitor which I love and it was about $50. I know you can find cheaper thermometer/hygrometers on Amazon or at Wal-Mart though. The $10 Qooltek one I originally bought broke after less than a year in crabitat conditions, but I'm sure there's a happy medium. :)

Do you have a separate device for humidity?
