sand turning reddish brown around EE chunks?

Post by avocadocrabbies » Sat May 09, 2020 5:39 pm

My EE isn't mixed in super well with the sand, but it's been fine up until now. The areas of EE are starting to turn the sandy areas surrounding it into a rusty-reddish brown color. Any advice as to why this is happening and if it's bad? I have three crabs molting so I can't really do a sub change.

It's the tannins in the cocofiber, it's totally normal and fine.
