Bridge made of Sticks
So I bought this bridge at PetSmart, and I thought it would look super great. Problem is, it only has suction cups on one side. I have two extra suction cups that I had, and I’m trying to figure out how to attach them to the other side with twine.
The suction cups have a little gap, so I don’t know how I would attach them.

I would tie it tightly on the hook part, maybe secure it with something. As long as it's tight enough you show be good! The stick bridge is super neat though! You could also use twine and tie it like that? Could the stick on the side with no suction cups fit in that open hook? If so, you could just tie/secure it. Hope this helped!

I think your idea worked! It fits in the hook perfectly

The wood bridge you have is a Willow bridge. It isn't recommended to use Willow with hermit crabs. Petsmart sells Willow wooden things for rodents. Here is the HCA link on Willow: viewtopic.php?t=104911

You could probably make something like that if your yard isn't sprayed with pesticides or fertilizers. Check to make sure your city/county doesn't spray for mosquitoes as well. Then just use crab safe wood (Oak, sweetgum, maple) bake in the ovenasiankanye wrote: ↑Sat May 23, 2020 1:15 pmyeah i’m a little sad... i thought it looked good but it’s unsafe. but safety comes before looks

wow, i know we haven’t used any sprays in our backyard. just don’t know what kind of trees and i have really skinny twine that’s probably not strong enough.
